VIEW LISTWithin the framework of the agency agreement with Siemens Energy AB, specialists of the Generation direction provided support to Siemens within the framework of an open tender and assistance in concluding contracts for the supply of a set of equipment for the construction of peak reserve sources (PRI) based on the flagship SGT-800 gas turbine units. A total of 16 (sixteen) such engines are supplied. The total capacity of the facilities intended for the integration of the Belarusian NPP into the country’s energy system will be 800 MW.
Construction is underway at 4 sites: 300 MW at Minsk TPP-5, 150 MW at Lukomlskaya TPP, 100 MW at Novopolotsk TPP and 250 MW at Berezovskaya TPP.
Reserve capacities are created at the expense of high-speed gas turbine units that can supply electricity to the grid within 15 minutes. It is planned to complete the construction of peak reserve capacities in 2022.
Simatec Energy has provided Siemens with its resources to prepare for the tender, participate in the selection of a supplier and at the stages of preparation and conclusion of contracts. Now the Generation team is providing partner support to Siemens at the stage of implementation of peak-backup sources.
